Tucker & Jay | Blue Ridge Mountains {Wedding}

June 8, 2012

Where do I even start Jay & Tucker? You all are so incredibly wonderful it’s hard to find the right words to describe you both and this intimate occasion we all celebrated over Memorial weekend.

You all are unbelievable friends. You both are beautiful in spirit. You generously love all around you. Together, you’re an incredible testimony of Christ to all those who know you. And you’re wedding was a true celebration of love, hope, grace and joy. Tuck & Jay, thank you for allowing me to be such a fun part of your celebration and your lives. I am truly so honored to have had these days in North Carolina, celebrating you both and loving your family and friends.

Her southern family from Charlotte, his northern family from the suburbs of Chicago, and their friends from Dallas all gathered in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina at the Grandfather Golf & Country Club to celebrate these two. We all celebrated with parties, brunches, golf outings, and simple relaxing in the beauty of the Grandfather mountains, in anticipation of the marriage that would take place. Saturday evening, on a small island on the property, with a backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains everyone walked the bridges from the country club and stood to witness a stunning wedding celebrating these two and their love for each other.

Tucker walked out from the house on the course, over a bridge and down a grass aisle, barefoot and in her mothers wedding dress, to her radiant and handsome groom. Their siblings stood by their side as they exchanged vows and a string set played into the evening. The reception lasted late into the night with toasts, details handmade by Tucker herself, beautiful food and cakes, and dancing that left everyone laughing and smiling late into the evening. And in true style, Jay & Tucker were whisked away into the cool North Carolina evening by a sparkler farewell by their family and close friends.

The entire weekend was one beautiful celebration Jay & Tucker. Your family and your friends are warm and wonderful people. Your style and taste is impeccable. We all love you so dearly and it’s all my honor to have captured the weekend. You both are so loved. Enjoy this sneak peek of you images. And enjoy St. Lucia!

And I just had to sneak this photo of Jay singing to his bride at the reception- I love the pure joy and love!

We love you both dearly! Thank you for allowing all of us to be a part of your celebration!
