Kitchen LTO featuring Chef Eric Shelton
I had the pleasure on Monday to stop by Kitchen LTO, a permeant pop-up restaurant in Dallas’s Trinity Groves, to photograph their newest chef, Eric Shelton. While there, we photographed some of his amazing plates that will grace the tables to the newly renovated Kitchen LTO, beginning tonight and lasting for the next 4 months.
Chef Eric has over 15 years of culinary experience, the last five here in Dallas. Growing up in the northeast, Eric grew to love fresh produce while growing vegetables alongside his mother in their home garden. Today, Eric still loves to combine fresh produce from the local market for his dishes. At Kitchen LTO, you’ll get to experience “New American” cuisine from Chef Eric and you’ll see a range from fresh salmon salad, roasted pork chops over wilted vegetables, fresh squash blossom risotto or, his winning dish, the deconstructed salmon BLT on the menu.
If you were one of the many who dined with Chef Norman Grimm last fall, you’ll notice a major change in the decor, as well as the food today. Tidy, classy, eclectic, fair and imaginative is what designer Stefania Morandi, from Brescia, Italy (who resides in Dallas) has in store for Kitchen LTO. “With an appreciation for details and the way things are arranged, Stefania’s favorite style is contemporary design because she is able to maximize her imagination and creativity.” Enjoy a sleek new appearance and feel when you dine with Chef Eric this time.
I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of the new Kitchen LTO (for the next four months, that is!) and be sure to stop by to try all Chef Eric has prepared. Dinner service starts tonight, and lunch service begins tomorrow! For more info, visit www.kitchenlto.com
